Alana De La Garza has gained a following in the world of television. De La Garza, a Mexican American father as well as an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26 1977. The family moved to Texas for the purpose of pursuing her dream of becoming an Occupational Therapist in the University of Texas. De La Garza didn't last long in Texas and then relocated in Orlando Florida where she experienced numerous acting roles such as local independent films as well as international commercials. She quickly found her passion for the art of acting even in small roles. When she moved to New York, in 2001, Rosa Santos earned her debut acting part in the show All My Children. The actress had a few roles on JAG: Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men at the beginning of 2000. She was cast in her first big role in 2004's short film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Anson Mount and Mitch Pileggi. The most memorable part of her career was in 2006's Law & Order where she appeared as A.D.A. Connie Rubirosa. The actress was on the show for 85 episodes. The character later re-entered the short-lived sequel Law & Order: LA. The character she played earned De La Garza many nominations including Best Supporting Actress - Television from the Imagen Foundation Awards and even multiple ALMA Award noms. She was awarded the Impact Award in 2008 for her outstanding performance on a dramatic television series from National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza was then chosen to play a regular actor on CSI Miami. She starred as Marisol Delko, the spouse of David Caruso's Horatio. She played Dr. Lena Solis in NBC's dramatic dark series Do No Harm. The series was canceled after just two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. She is Italian and has a younger sister Cory. She was raised by strict and religious parents. Milano began her career in the age of seven when her childsitter brought her along to an audition to act. Milano was among four girls chosen out of hundreds of applicants. Milano is featured in TV advertisements, off-Broadway productions and her role in the American first-ever premiere of Jane Eyre.
